Winding roads, snow-capped peaks, cold and fast rivers, and running through the high-altitude forests, an adventure to look forward to!
Why waste time stuck in traffic when you can enjoy the beauty of the valley on your feet and earn a medal at the finish line.
We introduce Manali Mountain Marathon in association with ABVIMAS (Atal Bihari Vajpayee Institute of Mountaineering and Allied Sports). ABVIMAS is one of the largest adventure sports training centre in India. It has trained over 40,000 people in mountaineering, skiing, water, and aero sports. With this association, we will ensure the smooth and enjoyable conduct of the event.

Race Categories
ABVIMAS Manali Mountain Marathon will have 04 race categories for all kinds of runners and also a fun run for kids. There will be no retracing the route and one gets to experience the best views Manali has to offer. The race flags off and finishes at the iconic Mall Road. With lots people to cheer you up, it will certainly an experience to have.

01.Marathon
The mountainous course will extract every ounce of your strength and determination to carry on and yet you will love every bit of it.
The route loops around the Beas River – through Deodhar forest and alpine meadows, winding and wavy roads passing through small villages to give the essence of the heritage of old Manali town. The course is a mix of tarmac and jeep track on hilly terrain. There will be no retracing the route and the full marathon will take you up to an altitude of 2950 meters, up to Gulaba.

02.Half Marathon
A half marathon for your personal bliss and not your personal best. Test your GrIT and endurance.
The course is a mix of tarmac and jeep track on rolling hills, it loops around the Beas River. It passes through small settlements and gives an essence of the heritage of a Himalayan town.

A refreshing yet challenging course for beginners.
The 12km race route also loops around the Beas River, with a mix of road and trails. Passing through the iconic and majestic Deodar forests of Manali, the race is worth an experience.
